My thoughts have been hovering around the phrase “Break out”.
Let me indulge you a little, it may help you too.
BREAK OUT
Have you ever been stuck, while with one who can help?
Or have you been lost before and your helpers worsen it?
What crosses your mind when you’ve tried and failed?
When your best seems to fail you over and again?
It feels like a rat race, where you repeat the same things;
Where moment meets another, with you in the same place!
Even if it’s not a jail, I’ll think of breaking out.
And that’s why I wrote this piece, asking you to break out.
A wise person wants success, he makes sure of progress.
His counterpart may join him but be turning him around.
Moving around in circles simply leads to nowhere.
For this wise man to succeed, he must definitely break out!
A spontanous poem by Nnamonu Tochukwu.
Thoughts don’t come in poems, dramas and prose or stories, they come in words, phrases and sentences and that’s why I’m still writing more words to buttress my point.
Whatever the piece turns out to be called, the important thing is that I would have made a point with words to support “Words Mean Much“.
Whenever you are lost, ensure that the people helping you to find your way are really interested in letting you go.
Just being with you may be what they want and so they’ll keep you hovering until you are so entangled that you just remain with them.
Mediocrity is a snare that most people would rather prefer to drag others into instead of rising to the challenge of breaking out!
Why are you stuck in that habit?
Why haven’t you quit the things you said you would?
Why are you still unfaithful to your spouse?
Why aren’t you living up to your vows?
None of these may be your case or some may even be but you know what I mean.
Are you keeping yourself in that loop or is someone helping you?
“If you can’t find the right person to breakout with then breakout on your own. Don’t rely on the feeble hands of the ones that are down with you. You may want to call it quit but they want more of it and you may just want to fly so high while the other loves the ground.”
“It takes the tough to surmount huge blocks. Those who are not may never admit but rather than be left behind, they hold the tough down.”

There is a much better place for you. Break out!

as I read, I felt it was written for me…since lately I’ve felt like I’m stuck in WEDNESDAY…very frustrating, I have not sat down to analyze it but off the top of my head i can identify a few road blocks i haven’t quite gotten past…I wrote a bit about it in a recent post, you know: CATHARSIS through writing, but it’s much deeper that 1 post…I’ll work on it because I do need to BREAK OUT, Wednesday is getting quite boring..thanks
It’s good to know that my post is making someone else to want to break out! Please do whatever you can to have your Wednesday as fun-filled as you would want it. I’m with you all the way. Break out!
I have come to INTERPRET my WEDNESDAY stump as a kind of fork in the road, I feel that I need to make some decisions, stop doing some things in order to concentrate and start doing others…but it’s a decision I have to think very well through in order to BREAK OUT!!
It is good to know what to do and to do it.
Change is the key to breaking out. We can’t keep doing the same things and expecting different results. Please think through; do it well and fast! Even if it’s difficult to make the change immediately you can atleast invest a lot of positive thoughts. Thinking and knowing exactly what we want is not the same as doing nothing. Thanks!
My hubby and I will be celebrating our 4th anniversary in May….because of him I broke free of a marriage of 16 years….8 years too long. I liked this: Whenever you are lost, ensure that the people helping you to find your way are really interested in letting you go.
Resonated with me.
That portion resonated with you?
That was actually all I intended to write!
I wanted to do a short quote but after a while I began expanding until I added both infront and behind to get to this! It fascinates me how just that quote could be picked out by you!
Even re-reading the comment just now made me kind of “ache” inside I guess. An image of a trusting person putting their life into the hands of someone with selfish/manipulative intentions comes to mind. I can see how that one line could evolve into much more. My brain does that alot. I’ll start with one thought and we’ll go from dewdrops to astronomy LOL.
I suppose teeceecounsel ,you are referring to break out of that which is binding or slowing your progress in your walk with the Lord. The songwriters of some of the Christian songs we sing ,echo that same thought , ‘The chains that bind me” Dont let shackles hold you , unchain me from my sin ” etc
thanks
Ron
True Ron! We can’t leave that out too. Man is a spirit, he has a soul and lives in a body. When I said ‘break out’ I didn’t restrict my thoughts; it affects any realm or every sphere. I’m sure breaking out from any of such shackles or chains. Thanks for the encouraging words.
