Appreciate What You Have

Man may have a frail body and limited resources, but he sure has a boundless mind and access to limitless opportunities.
Don’t neglect what you have, it is actually what you need to get to where you are going.
Put your mind to use and your body will be able to go places.
Drops of water make a mighty ocean.
Appreciate what you have and you will find the wisdom to multiply it.
Clay may just be a patch of mess, but one who appreciates it can turn it to a beautiful ceramic or glass cup.
What else can I say, but appreciate what you have.

Nnamonu Tochukwu.
A brief message of encouragement to let you know that you have what it takes to get you to your dreams.
The law of recognition makes us realise that we have all that we need, we only need to recognize them and transform them to usefulness.
A simple sms to let you know that you should appreciate what you have, no matter how little it may seem.
Gratitude is the secret to increase.
Appreciation is the key to multiplication.
Once again; appreciate what you have.

About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!

  3. We are indeed incredibly made Son and we have gifts and talents that can bring us great Joy and others too and God will also delight in us and when our lives are dedicated to doing His will, we will be used powerfully to make a difference in our world for good.

    God tells us to ask for His wisdom if we lack it and we all do indeed, no one is born with it in the flesh and so Jesus tells us to ask so we can receive. Fleshy pride comes from believing we can be all we are meant to be in our own strength and without God but this is error, only by the empowering of The Holy Spirit can we be.

    Christian Love Always from both of us – Grannie Anne

    • Grannie, God always reaches out to help those that diligently seek Him by revealing Himself to them through people, through the holy spirit or even through Jesus Christ.
      I’ll quote the story of Cornelius shortly, but here is what Jesus Himself said;

      “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him”.” (John 14:21).

      Cornelius was a man that was probably self righteous. He had a head knowlege of God but had not encountered Him personally. God saw his heart and reached out to him;

      “At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.
      One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, “Cornelius!
      Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked. The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.”
      (Acts 10:1-4).

      The story is quite a long one that signifies a dramatic change in the history of man’s relationship with God. The gospel was not for gentiles, but through faith and obedience, many are called to sonship.

      Most times, especially after we accomplish great things, we feel that our effort or ability brought success to us, but every good gift comes from above. Both the will and the ability to do good come from God;

      “for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.” (Philippians 2:13).

      Very often, with love, creativity, sincerity and dicipline, we encounter such transformation that can only be attributed to the Holy Spirit.
      We have our roles to play, yet God does it all, even through us, as long as we submit to His will.

      Remain blessed, Grannie!
      Regards to Ron.

      • Powerful words Son, no wonder I’m Proud of you, the True sets us free, Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life without Him we perish and all we have achieved on earth will count for nothing, we store up Heavenly Treasure, not earthly wealth.

        Big ((( Hug ))) Grannie Annie

      • Oh Grannie!
        You are a gift from God.
        Thanks for always being there.
        Keep shining your light.
        Regards to Ron.
