Innovative Technological Piece Of Cloth

Daily Prompt: The Next Big Thing, has inspired a new post.
The prompt says; “What will the next must-have technological innovation be? Jetpacks? Hoverboards? Wind-powered calculators? Photographers, show us INNOVATIVE.”

I have wished so much for a dress or an outfit that can meet all my physiological needs.
I can imagine a space jacket that provides oxygen, food and probably manages waste, without the need to be pulled of.
The next big thing for me, should be a piece of clothing that can become a bed, a chair, a display monitor, a speaker and can provide various functionalities either by my imagination or motion of my fingers.
Consider a situation where I need to play a car race game, and all I do is wear my cloth, activate the game and would feel the controls of a car as I view the scene of the game.
I could lie down, sit down, spin or take any comfort position, without the need for a chair or a bed.
The same cloth could place a call to any friend and allow me to attend to my blog posts and comments without any other external device.
That’s a whole new world!
A piece of cloth that can make me feel as if I am in a swimming pool or as if I am walking on ice.
A technological innovation that can make the space between my jacket and my skin to feel like a massive endless field or an exquisite hall.
One that can produce the sound of rushing winds or the clashing waves of an ocean.
A device that can replay any memory of previous experiences or generate any scene that I imagine.
Wouldn’t it be amazing to stretch on water without drowning or to dance around the sun without being burned?
To take any choice position without external support.
Just like floating in space!
If the temperature can be regulated, just by this piece of cloth, and every imagination can be simulated, both by visual displays and corresponding sounds or vibrations.
It would also be beautiful to network a number of such clothings in such a way that various users can share their worlds of imaginations and experiences.
We can just laugh this off as a dream, but wait a minute!
How would it be, if I had no need to prepare a meal, because my piece of cloth handles all of that and passes the prepared meal straight to my mouth.
If I could sleep with the imaginations and sensations of lying on a floating bed, simply supported by air.
If the pages of my books could be flipping on their own, just suspended before my eyes.
If I could ride a bicycle, play with a skipping rope, play either lawn tennis or badminton, within a room of Three square metres.
If I could make this new dress and begin enjoying it’s benefits, then I would admit that technology has come up with an innovation worthy of note.

About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!
