About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!

  1. Hi Son, I was wondering what you were doing, good to see your around. I believe that knowing that God works everything out for good in our lives is worth smiling about but I don’t believe in wearing a mask or being Happy clappy and faking it till we make it , I walked that road, it’s a dead end.

There is a saying laugh and the world laughs with you cry and you cry alone, God tells us the opposite, we are to carry each others burdens and cry with those who are crying but yes rejoice with those who are happy.

I do not believe that Paul and Silas were Happy Clappy when they were whipped, shackled together and thrown onto the cold hard floor of the prison and you can be sure there was no a’larte menu to enjoy but Wow filled with The Spirit they were praising God.

You are right Son with the right focus our Joy won’t disappear with the changing tide, God must always be our focus not ourselves, we are to become less, the values of the world are not stable God’s are.

( Can you find the Scripture to confirm this Truth Son )

Christian Love from both of us – Grannie Annie

    • Talking of masks, Grannie Annie, I’ve put up a whole post previously. You can take a look: https://teeceecounsel.wordpress.com/2012/10/12/masks-conceal-secrets-but-they-neither-heal-wounds-nor-pains/
And about your points, I would always admit that you are right. Everybody’s reality hovers around what they believe.
I smiled at your assignment and I delightfully embarked on it. Here’s what I’ve got:

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” (Mark 13:31).

“Be strong, courageous, {and} firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

“God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship {and} participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” (1 Corinthians 1:9).

“Jesus answered, Even if I do testify on My own behalf, My testimony is true {and} reliable {and} valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.” (John 8:14).

“I have much to say about you and to judge {and} condemn. But He Who sent Me is true (reliable), and I tell the world [only] the things that I have heard from Him.” (John 8:26).

God never fails. Our confidence is not in ourselves, but in the one who made all things beautiful for His own pleasure.

It’s good to know that you’ve been looking out for son. I’m good Grannie, just saddled with numerous tasks.
Thanks so much for stopping by with your uplifting words.
      Regards to Ron!

      • Great Scriptures Son, thank you, it reminded me that until Pentecost, the Disciples and others, had limited understanding about God the same as the Old Testament Saints although The Holy Spirit was working in their lives He could not indwell them, but not so today, we can see below that we now have the Holy Spirit who tells us all things needed. .. How good is that!

Isaiah 55:3 Incline your ear and come unto me: hear and your soul shall live.

1 Corinthians 2:9-16 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that Love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth but which the Holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with Spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are Spiritually discerned. But he that is Spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the Mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? but we have the Mind of Christ.

John 15:14-15 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.(KJV)

Matthew 10:26-28 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops (KJV)

        Christian Love Anne.
