Advice: Avoid Deception, Adopt Optimization

Avoid Deception, Adopt Optimization

The man who builds a life on deception is simply setting out a plan for destruction.
To avoid activating ‘self-destruct’, simply be true to yourself.
Structures built on unstable foundations are simply waiting for a fall or collapse.
Why cover up, when you can sit up?
Aim at improving yourself, rather than creating an impression of who you are not.
This is my advice to you; avoid deception, adopt optimization.
Become a better person.
Add value to yourself.
Learn everyday!
The best person to become, is the best of yourself.
What are you waiting for?

About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!

  1. “To avoid activating ‘self-destruct’, simply be true to yourself.” YES, we owe it to ourselves and to the people around us to be true to ourselves, to not be our own obstacle but our own vessel to living a fulfilled and inspiring life… be true to yourself, at first you might be the only one that likes you but the glow that a self-loved, self-respected person emanates will, sooner rather than later, be seen and appreciated by those who matter! Teecee, my friend, you inspire me!! big hug, Alexandra

    • You’ve said it all, my friend!
The things that really stand the test of time and make a great difference are things born out of conviction, commitment and perseverance.
Creating make-beliefs or masking inadequacies with deception may hide the truth from people for a while, but it cannot take away the real problems.
Mature people face their issues and handle them.
Gold is purified through processes that include a furnace. We must learn to stand refinement.
You inspire me a lot, Alexandra.

  2. Hi Son, being True to your self is only possible when we put others first because Jesus told us it is in giving that we receive. If we know who we are in the Lord we won’t need to be approved of by others to have self worth because it is found in our relationship with The Lord who empowers us to follow His guidelines and so we feel complete.

    • You hit the nail on the head, Grannie!
We don’t need the approval of anybody to have self worth.
Deep privileges like peace of mind, joy, confidence, contentment and fulfilment, are not enjoyed by being men pleasers or by creating false impressions.
They are a gift received through faith.
Doing the will of the Father affords us such luxuries that the world cannot afford.
The Father’s will for us is that we love one another as Christ loved us.
Thanks for stopping by with your scriptural contribution once again.
You always point out something new.
      Regards to Ron!
