About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!

So True Son ……The best way to get the best out of this life is to be the best of yourself!”

But without Jesus we can’t be the best that we were created to be because of the fallen flesh Nature that is why He had to come to set us free from the punishment we deserved and the slavery of sin that pollutes us, we must put our flesh nature to death by the empowering of The Holy Spirit as we choose to walk in His fruit which is all about God’s Love, the absence of His Love is evil.

John 8:34-36 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Colossians 3:4-6 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

Romans 8:1-4 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Christian Love from us both – Grannie Annie

    • Thanks much Granny Annie, for the very insightful portions you always exhume, we truly have a role to play in reaching our best that requires consistency.
We definitely must allienate ourselves from certain things.

“No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.” (1 John 3:6).

Another important fact is that we require faith. Certain heights are only attainable through faith. Without faith, it is easy to give up on life.

“But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.” (Jude 1:20).

A certain scripture always reminds me of opportunity cost. The true cost of a thing includes the opportunities forgone.
To reach one’s best, the unnecessary must be abandoned, forsaken or sacrificed.

“Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.” (Galatians 5:24).

We’ve got to keep living to the standards of our ideals without giving up. There’s a price to pay to reach one’s best. It’s not bought with money but with diligence and consistency.
      You inspire me, Granny.
      Regards to Ron.

      • Hi dear Son, you are spot on to be all that God wants us to be we must put our wordly flesh, that causes us to sin to death, as we choose to do what is Godly, He empowers us by The Holy Spirit to do it well.

Romans 8 :12-15 Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. or if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Romans 8:1-4 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

1John 4:16-17 And we have known and believed the Love that God hath to us. God is Love; and he that dwelleth in Love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world.

Ephesians 4:23-24 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Phillipians 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast Loved them, as thou hast Loved me.

Philippians 1:9-10 And this is my prayer: that your Love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ.

Christian Love Son Always from both of us – Grannie Annie

      • You’ve said it all, Granny! 🙂
This conversation remind me so much of a previous post that we deliberated on together: You Are A Perfect And A Faultless “You”. You Are Flawless!
Perfection like you rightly said, is not attainable in the flesh. But there is perfection by the spirit.
Faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation and a renewal of the mind brings transformation that changes values and priorities.
We do not have the same values as the world and that is why we can appreciate life better.
The flesh is insatiable, but the spirit gives life.
Aligning to the right source keeps us refreshed and able to do even the seemingly impossible.
“Out of your bellies shall flow streams of living water”.
It’s time to look to the things that are above. “The time cometh and now is, when true believers shall worship in spirit and in truth”. Relationship with God has gone beyond religion; it is personal. It doesn’t matter what people think or say. What matters is, are you known by the lord?
This scripture says something important; “But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!'” (Luke 13:27).
My hope and prayer is that we shall all walk in faith and be led by the spirit, rather than conforming to the patterns of this world in a bid to justify ourselves.
The only authentic justification is available through faith in Christ.
        Hope I’m on track, Granny?
Thanks for stopping by, once again.
        Regards to Ron!

  2. Oh Tee I so love this. It is always it seems the way about our writing, as if this natural empowerment from knowledge like this is for purposely sharing. It is such a beautiful style in how you share this blessing.

Finding our authentic and genuine souls takes being honest, I have experienced both genuine and ingenious people as I know you have, I find it fascinating that the very honesty which we know is our path to real freedom.

Big Smiles and gentle hugs Tee.. You always manage to lift my spirit. ~

    • Thanks so much, Toni. Your warm and refreshing words are always appreciated.
Honesty is really a virtue that enables us discover ourselves. Pretence may deceive onlookers but the only way we can enjoy internal peace and fulfilment is be living up to our ideals and being the best of ourselves.
I’m so excited that you stopped by and I am reinvigorated and revitalised as always.
      Thanks for stopping by!

      • I was just having a conversation with a young person in my life about the need for honesty in any relationship and interaction with others. I’ll never understand how a person living with dishonesty can be seen as a whole person. I don’t have a clue who I am dealing with in that kind of scenario, and I find that disconcerting and unsettling.

Thank you again Tee, you always make me feel so warmly welcome and appreciated . So meaningful to me ~

      • You are welcome, dear. A dishonest person is a disaster waiting to happen. How can you help a person that has built everything that you think is fact, out of lies?
I always believe that to be able to get help, one must be honest. Sincerity makes the problem plain and allows the right solution to take charge.
I’m glad that you always find encouragement here, just the way you spark inspiration and motivation.
Thanks for always being there, dearest sister and friend!
