About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!

As a Christian teeceecounsel, God tells us we are all unique and each of us has a place in His heart that only we can fill, but that we became One by the Gift of His Son.

God tells us also that there will be differances in the Church but we are not to agree to disagree or argue, both just end in division, we are to take our differances to Him and reason together with His Truth. He is a God of Unity, not division, it was never His will that there be so many Denominations and Paul warned against it.

God tells us ( see below ) we are to be of one mind and in agreement in The Body of Christ and we will be if we have His mind, some think it is a pain when others share His Truth from the Scriptures, so sad that they do but we can pray that they will come to their senses and then their stuborn proud rebellous hearts will be changed and then as it is with you and me and others in God’s Family, it will bring them Joy instead.

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? but we have the mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 1: 10 -11 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Philippians 3:14-16 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, where to we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

2Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in Peace; and the God of Love and Peace shall be with you.

1 Peter 3:7-9 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, Love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

Philippians 4:2 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

Philippians 2:4-6 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Philippians 2:1-3 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of Love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same Love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Galatians 24 -26 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

You are approaching this from a unique perspective, and a lovely one at that!
I always enjoy reading your well referenced comments because they make me get thorough with my response.
From my perspective, it takes one who is different to make a diffence, because the mindset of the world is flawed.
Those that make a difference do not belong to the world.
-“If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” (John 15:19).
-“I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.” (John 17:14).
Unbelievers cannot cause positive change or change that has eternal value. Their judgement is based on their senses.
-“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:4).
-“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14).
The patterns of this world is probably the wider way that leads to destruction and so whoever must make a difference will not conform to them.
-“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:2).
-“As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.” (1 Peter 1:14).
It takes one who has separated himself/herself from evil and ignorance to make a diffence.
-“Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you”.” (2 Corinthians 6:17).

I totally agree with you, only on the condition that the subject(s) in question is/are transformed. Love, peace and oneness is not of the world. Such comes from a transformation that makes one different.

      They that are Christ’s are different. Like you rightly quoted throughout your references, especially in Galatians 5:24-26;

“Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.” (Galatians 5:24).
“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:25).
“Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.” (Galatians 5:26).
This is precisely what it means to be different, and it is only with such different mindset of oneness which you recommend and which Christ represents, that one can make a difference.
Thanks for spicing up my moment by motivating me to search scriptures. Regards to Ron.
