Have you ever noticed that life is a chain reaction?
Have you ever heard the saying that what goes around comes around?
That’s a chain reaction.
The thoughts we habour influence our actions.
Our individual values shape our society and affect our collective conditions.
Isn’t that a chain reaction?
When there is some kind of ripple effect from either a single or collective signal sent to the universe, we can call it a chain reaction.
One thing leading to many subsequent things. It could be positive or negative.
One thought expressed in words, actions or attitude leading to numerous resulting conditions, is nothing but a chain reaction.
A trickle down effect; an action or a decision made at one point often spreads to every other linked point and would be best described as a chain reaction.
Imagine a scenario where an individual or a few individuals from a certain nation become notorious for fraud, the reputation of the nation and it’s citizens become affected negatively. Other nations become sceptical about engaging in business associations with this nation, revenues from foriegn exchange reduce drastically and the standard of living drops for everyone. Such fraudsters are finally caught and imprisoned, but the innocent citizens are taxed to run the prison facilities and the prisoners.
That’s a chain reaction, a ripple effect or a trickle down effect, but it just proves the point that what goes around comes around.
We have to believe that there is enough for everyone, there’s no need to struggle and compete with each other.
Our attitude towards others should spring from love, express peace and activate joy.
If life is a chain reaction then we should give off positive thoughts and habour postive values, they will be reflected back to us in one way or the other.
If we attract our thoughts, the we ought to think good thoughts.
If our feelings determine the things that life offers us then we must feel good all the time, to experience good things.
How long will we live in fear and doubt?
When will we be able to express confidence and trust?
What kind of chain reactions are we activating?
What information are we spreading?
Are we spreading panic or spreading hope?
Are we introducing helpful values?
Are we improving society?
We need to become more responsible for our thoughts and values because in one way or the other, they shape our society.
It is time to ensure that peace and joy spreads to the world through love.
We can start with ourselves and the thoughts we have of others.
We can use the chain reaction in our favour.
