Who Is Responsible For The Problem

Who is responsible for the problem?
This is the best illustration I have come across that answers it.
A rope is being pulled from both ends, by two different people. Nobody agrees to let go and each blame the other for the tension.
Who is responsible for the problem?
Why doesn’t anyone let go?
This really is the best illustration I’ve seen.
Beautiful and brilliant!

To Be Aware

2 people are pulling a rope from both ends, Let’s call them Eric and George. In the middle of the rope there is a tension. Totally terrified that the rope might rupture, you run to them and ask how did they find themselves in this situation.
Both of them are saying: “He is responible for the tension in the rope – if HE wouldn’t stop pulling, the rope will forever stay tensed.”
“But, you also feel the tension in your hands, that’s because you are also pulling!” you say.
“Yes,” they are both saying, “but HE is responsible, He started, HE is the problem”.

Seeing it all from above, you KNOW that it is enough that one of them will stop pulling to stop the tension. Truth is, that the first one to do it will be the one to stay on his feet, while the other will probably fall…

About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!

Hi teeceecounsel thank you for taking the time to share others thoughts, we may or may not agree with them but we cannot resolve conflict by pretending it is not there, we need to look for the True answers and be willing to share them and listen to them too only then can we be free of confusion and discord

I did like Ideo’s rope allagory and as I shared with him, it is True differant understandings can cause Tension which in turn causes the inner discord and confusion, which then leads to disagreements and yes we may just let go of the rope but if nothing is resolved then this will cause division,

It is so good to know that there is real Truth that brings Pease and Joy and that is God’s Truth which only causes concern if we are in error. How do we know if we have His Truth, we ask Him for it and He promises if we do He will give us His wisdom, we can then be sure and not have doubts regardless of what others say that contrdict but if we do doubt then we never really believed we could receive His wisdom or anything else that He promises us, all of which is always good, All good things come from God, He is Love and can do no evil.

    • I love your response Ann! Life has many unanswered questions and sometimes, other people could be the instruments through which we are reached. There are diverse gifts from one spirit. All good gifts were given to us from above and all things work together for the good of them that love God. Life is meaningless if we are stuck with self. I appreciate your words as always. regards to Ron.

  2. Brilliant post. Thank you for sharing!

Hi again teeceecounsel, thank you for your response, as always it is very uplifting and so very True, as the Body of Christ we are to encourage each other sharing our gifts helping to build others up and to mature by hearing God’s Truth.

I just wanted to share with you a Scripture that confirms about asking for God’s wisdom, there are many more but this one reminds us Jesus said we don’t have because we don’t ask and it’s so true that none of us were born with Godly wisdom except Jesus, so we do indeed lack it till we ask and when we do we can go on and be perfected in Love.

I’m limited on this Computer so I will just leave a referance for you – James1:4-8

    • Thanks much, Anne! I really appreciated the reference you shared in your response and I used it to encourage some friends in a meeting I attended yesterday.
Wisdom is received from the one who created all things. He wants us to ask and to believe without doubt.
To be bold and confident, to dare, to take risks, to sacrifice much, to make impact and to achieve great accomplishments don’t come from mere physical labour. Faith is often the propelling factor and wisdom is the insurance for productivity and increase.
It is always refreshing to hear from you.
Thanks once again and my regards to Ron.
