Stop Arguing; Succeed!
What contribution has winning or loosing an argument made towards your personal success?
People are willing to learn only when they see reason to believe that you’ve got something different. Yes, something that works.
Almost anybody can talk, it takes much more than just talking to succeed.
Have some evidence to backup your philosophies before expecting people to develop an interest in what you have to say. Except ofcourse you are specially gifted with talking.
Come out from among them, distinguish yourself by succeeding and let them see for themselves.
Most arguments arouse emotions or better put, agression. They consume time and energy unnecessarily. An exception ofcourse is a negotiation. You must have your objectives properly spelt out and creatively chart your path to meeting them all. Like an artist, you should be able to paint a vivid picture and using words, get those around to see it.
Negotiation is an art. Be skillful with it. Words are not meant to be wasted, don’t waste them!
It’s not wrong to talk, only be sure you have an aim.
It’s neither wrong to prove a point, just be sure you have an audience that is willing to learn.
Be a trail blazer, become outstanding and watch others clamour to tread the same path as you.
Once again, stop arguing; succeed!
