Default Settings

The human being’s default settings has “self defence” turned on.

The implication is simple; blame must be transfered to other people.

The ability to see your personal contribution to a misfortune and to take responsibility of it is wisdom.

Fools never find a fault in themselves, so they never change.

Wise people examine the consequences of their actions and make the necessary adjustments to create the required results.

To blame another is to maim yourself and to insist on the blame is to get lame.

Don’t look outwards when things keep going wrong, look inwards. Check your default configurations and ensure that it is not set to ‘self destruct’.

Even if other people are instrumental to a misfortune, only personal responsibility can introduce recovery.

Quit finding faults in fellow fault finders, become exceptional by default.

If your default settings are working against you, change them!

About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!

I totally agree, though it is difficult to re-wire the brain after years of thinking and doing it. I am learning to change these thoughts 🙂 thanks for the reminder.

Look inward for the answers rather than outward for the excuses. 🙂

    • Sure! That’s the point. If we must make progress then we must do what it takes.
Blaming parents, government, teachers, friends or anybodyelse, can never change a thing. Look inwards! Nice comment, thanks!

  4. so true! i love this. those that don’t look at themselves are so damaging.
