Time Heals Wounds

Time heals the wounds that tears cannot.”

About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!

I always hated hearing that things will “get better in time”… but it has been true each time.

    • Smiles! Time keeps doing it’s thing, whether or not it is liked or appreciated. Time teaches, time builds, time heals… Life goes on, we’ve got to quit crying and start living. Moving get’s us there, building encourages completion and time is the resource that we must maximize to accumulate these accomplishments. Crying has it’s place but it should be kept within it’s bounds or it would become a distraction. Lovely contribution there! πŸ™‚

  2. I stopped crying when I saw that it didn’t help my case one bit, in fact it worsen it…so now, with a knot in my throat i just have time to grab on to for relief! but how can hours drag on when you’re waiting for a deep wound to heal!

    • Very often, wounds heal faster when they are ignored, possibly because the mind focuses on other things and does not feel the fact that time is ticking. Crying may ease off pressure and bring some emotional relief but when excessive, it begins to trigger feelings of fear and hopelessness, which in turn adds agony to injury. Even bones heal up with time, there are times that the only option is to wait. Time will always do it’s thing in it’s own way! πŸ™‚ Thanks!
