Back in the days, we were told that a good meal must contain the various nutrients that constitute a balanced diet.
With time I’ve come to see that it requires some effort and processes to have such a meal.
One thing I observed is that good meals are prepared and not necessarily stumbled upon. Various ingredients are used to garnish a meal and different approaches are used to create different effects in meals.
There are stipulated proportions for the various constituents as well as temperature regulation and duration of exposure to heat.

In life, we often desire a lot more than just a good meal.
We desire accomplishments of various degrees and acquisition of diverse sorts.
We often forget that, just like there are procedures to get a good meal, our desires can only come to fruition if we find the procedures that generate such results and implement them.
Faith, patience, enthusiasm, foresight, diligence, discipline, creativity, self-esteem, self-control, attitude, focus and a whole lot of virtues have their various roles to play in attaining the desires of our hearts.

I have not forgotten the fact that fruits are naturally ready to eat and are highly nutritious. We don’t necessarily need to prepare them but we have to either hunt for them or purchase them if we don’t grow them.
Likewise, there are already made opportunities in life that may just require washing and slicing like a few fruits or peeling and sucking like a few others.
Just as our needs and desires are not meals alone, our hygiene and nutrition procedure should not be restricted to meals alone.
If we can go shopping for food stuffs and go through the rigors of cooking them, we can do the same for our other needs and desires.
