Proper Planning

Proper planning saves time and resources!

Think it through before making a move.

Whatever you try to save by avoiding proper thinking, you will most likely pay for, with time and material, during implementation.

Implementation is simple and straight foward when all the possible variations have been previously considered, and the best option selected!

Do you really think you can avoid a thorough plan? Try loosing your directions in the middle of nowhere without refering to a gps; you would be lost, at least till you trace your way back or ask questions.

Always make proper inquiry and investigation before setting out on certain missions.

Some mistakes will simply not be if the procedure is thought through before the first move is made.

As soon as certain mistakes are made, it would cost time and resources to make the necessary corrections, so why make such mistakes in the first place?

Planning well does not necessarily mean spending time; sometimes the best plans are drawn in split seconds. Quality thoughts are not necessarily the ones that consume so much time but the ones that put every possible alternative into consideration for maximum productivity.

Think before you say a word.

Think before you make a move.

Figure it out before you begin to spend because you may just keep spending to correct mistakes that proper planning would have eliminated.

A good plan may be a thought that is properly described verbally or a detailed drawing / writing. The point is that any project worth embarking on is worth being evaluated before starting!

About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!

This is sound, simple advice that seems to be lacking so much today. I teach college students who never seem to think about what comes next. I’m working on them, though.

    • Keep up the good work on them. Everybody is a potential achiever. Invest in them. Anybody that can learn to plan ahead is grabbing future opportunities and eliminating future challenges ahead of time!

Oh, I would never give up on my angels. Many people have given up on them, but the worse is when they give up on themselves. My job is not teaching them business, it is to teach them to believe in their abilities.

        Thanks for the uplift.

I can’t remember who said: ‘Failing to plan, is planning to fail.” but it springs to mind. Thanks. 🙂

Just don’t be like my ex and spend so much time thinking and planning that you end up procrastinating and never getting anything done! LOL.

    • True. That’s another aspect of planning; it consumes some people. They remain in a loop; planning and not implementing. It’s not worth it. A sound plan can be made and implemented in split seconds, depending on the nature of the task. Thanks.

    Sound advice.

  7. This is definitely wise counsel. Thank you!

  8. I love to be spontaneous, but am also a planner! This is great advice, Teecee! 🙂

    • Thanks much! Variety is the spice of life. It’s good to arm yourself with the creativity to be spontaneous and the tenacity to plan well and stick to the plans. I’ll say it again: Life is beautiful, depending on your perspective or approach. Be properly equipped and life will be fun!
