One Quote On Delegation

If you delegate a task that would cost you a fortune if mismanaged, be sure that it is in reliable hands or keep a fortune aside in case of damages.

About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!

  2. Thanks much! Delegation should be done with care. It almost cost me a fortune. well, I learnt my lesson.

Oh, this is funny. Just the other day at work I was asked to give some photocopying to someone but the girl I gave it to obviously didn’t want to do it as she delegated it. When I told my boss who was in fact doing it, she had me retrieve the job – and commented about the delegation. She wasn’t happy!

I couldn’t agree more with this. Being a leader isn’t always easy, and when you’re weak at judging people’s you’ll end up doing the tasks youself. I learn a lot from this. Thanks for reminding me, my dear friend! 🙂

    • You are always welcome! A good leader raises reliable people. Without reliability, delegation wouldn’t work. It is only when there are reliable hands that delegation can be made and productivity is guaranteed.

  5. Loved this one! 🙂
