Becoming A Star

Many times we feel discouraged that people don’t identify with us. We feel so sure that we have something sound and fascinating to offer but nobody seems interested. We go all out to publicize and create awareness how we know best, yet we only get to see our few trusted friends.
Often we habour thoughts of doing something else or just giving up but that is not the way.
Stars set shows up and people show up so why don’t you become a star?
How? You ask? When you’ve tried and failed?
Just read on you’ll find the answer here!

When you put the show up and nobody shows up, don’t stop.
Keep believing in what you’ve got.
Focus on the one thing that keeps you going and keep doing it.
Anything that you think is possible, is actually possible.
Just as you plant a seed and keep watering it till it germinates and grows, so should you believe in your dreams and keep taking steps to give them life. In due season, your dreams will spring up and bear visible fruits!
When the forces that germinate the seed and grow the trees finish with your dreams, you will not have enough room to accomodate the turn up on the subsequent shows that you set up.
A crowd often shows up where relevance is established; where diligence and consistency was never compromised.
Ask the stars what they went through, they’ll tell you this same thing.
Become a star and tell your story too. Wondering how to share the story? You don’t have to worry, the press will show up too!

About teeceecounsel

Who am I really? Can that be defined yet? Probably by the time I'm long gone and all the pieces of my activities are compiled and analysed then you can know what you want to know about me. Meanwhile, I write. Not because I love writing but because I love people. I love to care and love to share. I'm a deep thinker and I love to believe in the impossible. The ideal is attainable and a shot at it must be given. Don't say 'It won't work' rather ask 'how will it work? Nobody is ever doomed unless they made the choice. To resist good and to adopt evil is already doom. To loose hope is to choose doom but to believe that every step is a passing phase leading towards your hope is to choose progress. I may go on and on but my posts say it all. I don't force you to agree, I only say enjoy!

You know what’s interesting?! When the flood gates open the stories flow. But the problem arises when the gate is locked and the key has been misplaced.

    Great post.

    • Having a good laugh! Whoever suggested that the key could be misplaced? Well, if it’s conceivable then it’s believable and if believable; possible. Thanks for the response, still laughing!

  2. Inspiring.
“Anything that you think is possible, is actually possible.” I liked that line the best. ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks for coming over to visit my blog! ๐Ÿ™‚

“Be attached to the process rather than the outcome.” – That quote springs to mind, but I can’t remember who said it! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Sure! I’ve heard that quote and I was thinking of it while writing this. The process is equally as important as the result. There is none without the other! Thanks.

Good advice. We need to believe in our dreams.

The problem that we all have is the tendency to value our self-worth based on the judgement of others. It is a hard habit to break but once we do, it’s so freeing.

I always remember that the turtle won the race.

Thanks so much for this lovely insight.

    • I love your comment so much! The opinion of the crowd shouldn’t be the basis for assessing self worth. Great point there! The turtle winning the race points out that consistency can beat speed. Thanks for the insight too!

  9. l ove this – “A crowd often shows up where relevance is established; where diligence and consistency was never compromised.” I almost think the universe is like a magazine reader, it has to see that ad regualrily to believe it’s worth trying out. Skill, motivation, luck will get you going, but it’s consistancy, discipline, determination and plain old stubborness will most often get you to the finish line.

    • Perfectly put. Life seems to have a lot of regard for consistency. Drops of water make make a mighty ocean. The impact of some things we do only become visible when we have done them over and over again!
I love the part of your comment that says ‘…and plain old stubbornness will often get us to the finish line’. Thanks!
