I ran across this today in some old things I had saved. I’m not sure who wrote it, I know it wasn’t me, but whoever did really set the scene and pushed the message across with clarity. It is so easy to get wrapped up in our day-to-day lives and not realize that the most important people in our lives are slipping away. We have to cherish those we love. We should be putting more energy into our loved ones then into anyone or anything else. Sadly, many of us put more energy into building our career that we don’t realize until its to late that a career is all we have left.
